2019 Mini John Cooper Works International Orange Edition. I would be mighty tempted by one of these if they are still on the lots next year.
That orange looks awesome and I love the black accents. The Union Jacks in the tail lights of the new Minis are a bit much but sources say they aren’t too hard to swap for the older lights.
Considering the normal JCW is already pricey I can’t imagine this would be anything even vaguely resembling affordable. That’s too bad because I would totally buy one.

You sure you want all 8 intake grilles and all 4 fake rear vents?

Love me an orange car, but I would have taken out more red ... NEEDZ MOAR ORANGGE!

The rear bumper is a bit ridiculous but they make brake cooling ducts to stick in the front. Overall its still better than the CTR.

It’s international orange. The same color is used for offshore helmets, NASA flight suits, the Bell X-1, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The aerospace industry uses it whenever they want something to stand out.

I like the rear light. *and the diagonals have been properly done and located right).

To a squirrel they look like storage pouches.

I saw the facelifted Mini the other day. That turn signal haunts me, I don;t like the rear lamps at all. Otherwise a nice car.

I like this gen much better than the 2nd gen. There are some things about the new cars (such as the new instrument cluster) that I don’t like but overall they are good in my book.

Oh, I love the current gen (size and all), I just find the LCI’s taillights a bit too gaudy even by Mini standards.
I love them though, I spent hours doing
configurations of the hatch. Green paint was obligatory but I was drawn to Lapiz
lazuli Blue. I don’t like the obsession with the Union Jacks tho.

A Lapiz blue Clubman was likely going to become my new daily driver in a few years. Then they announced this edition that would scratch my itch for a low production, brightly colored car. Also my Cooper crossed 150k and I'm starting to worry about how reliable it is going to continue to be with how I beat on it.

The thing I love about MINIs is there are so many different treatments and colors. And almost all of them look great.
MINIs are pretty common here in Chicago but I’ve never seen one exactly identical to any of my 3.

I generally like Minis but there is definitely something about this design that makes it way better looking than a standard JCW. I'm always concerned about Mini reliability to buy one though

The 2015+ Minis are pretty bulletproof by all accounts. I haven’t heard of any issues in the time they have been available.
The first gen cars are pretty good too. You just need to remember that they are all at least 12 years old and are going to have the kind of issues you expect from a car that’s that old.
The second generation are the real bad ones and should by avoided like the plague. 2012+ they were passable but still not good.

I have been a bit jealous of my Dad's Series.Yellow BRZ since he bought it a year ago. This ticks all the right boxes for me. Brightly colored, high performance, and low production.

I love our current orange but the Mellow Yellow of our first MINI is still my favorite.

Good to know! I'll keep Minis on the list for potential new cars
